Newly Arrived Refugee Projects

Over the past 2 years we have  worked with newly arrived secondary school age students at Haverstock School. Using drama and film the classes  learnt English and developed new forms of self expression whilst acclimatising to their new life in London.

These sessions  involved around 70 students and meant they could move into mainstream schooling with more confidence and understanding of language, culture and expression.

We have also been working with Kiln Theatre for a day and a half leading workshops at the Theatre and at the College Of North West London. These sessions have involved up to 30 young people developing means of expression through drama and theatre leading to performances in the theatre and a variety of films.
